Statement

I focus my work around the ideas of controlled chaos; the feeling of a push and pull between having great control and losing complete control.

Using bold color, large immersive canvases, mark-making, texture, and abstraction, I create an atmosphere that expresses personal internal struggles that have emerged from life experiences. While these themes are personal, they can also be universal.

I work primarily in large-scale with oil paint, striving to generate an emotional experience for the viewer.
